Having companionship to walk through life with someone you deeply care about is a special thing. It often takes work to create a deep connection between you and your partner. Jeremy’s goal is to have couples more united after the session than when they arrived. During couples therapy each partner will learn what makes their partner “tick”. They will discover what their sensitivities and feelings are hidden under the silence, crying and/or screaming.
Jeremy also helps couples better understand the patterns that are occurring in their relationship and how much of it stems from each individuals’ past and childhood upbringing. Once a person becomes more aware of these cycles, it’s easier to pinpoint the feelings behind them and to prevent the downward spirals from continuing to occur. In turn, couples feel they have the tools to understand one another, even during or after a conflict and to talk it out.
